Indeed.  And yours looks in great shape.  I have an OM2 and 50 1.4.  The OM's size, body and lenses, is what made me switch from a Cannon to Olympus many, many years ago.

Yes, the OMs are my favorite reflex cameras with the Nikon FM2 (compact also). In fact I don't use them anymore since I have my Leica, it's another way to live the act of photographing.

You're like the people who take garden gnomes with them and photograph them wherever they go on holidays...😁

It turns out that I walk and travel a lot with my camera, and that sometimes I wanted to keep a souvenir of my Leica in this specific light, in this situation, more "in life" than simply photographed upon a table..

Given you nice sense of humor and comparison, this will be my last post in this Leica forum, goodbye!

There is nothing wrong with photographing your camera. We all do this at this page. ( Or there is something wrong with everyone on this pages? ) . Don't let remarks like that influence your joy in photographing your camera in such marvelous places. Please continue!

Tank's a lot for your answer Paulus, yes, as you say , it's only a question of Joy! Another way of shaking a Leica friend's hand.

Lighten up.  I have never made a critical comment in this forum.

I was being funny.  Hence the smiling emoji. The travelling gnomes was a famous story in the 80s during my university years.

My own camera porn is also occasionally found in the  forum, just not with  such nice backgrounds.

People, you are influencing me, but perhaps not in a good way.

I had virtually decided to buy an M10, but now I am wavering, listening to the siren call of the MP.

What to do?

Without any reference to analog v digital, an MP will have a longer life that the M10... even if my 10 year old M9 is still in regular use, I know that it’s lifespan is not that of my MP. I am very happy with, and very fortunate to have both.

Good point. A key element in my decision will be the quality of the scans that I manage to achieve.

On the other hand, my clock radio is almost 50 years old. Not bad for an electronic device with some mechanical parts. Maybe the M10 will last longer than you think?
