Hah!  His site does leave bit to be desired - I reviewed it for the variety of options I was looking for, then e-mailed him with my request once I had an idea of what I wanted.  I honestly expected him to say no and redirect me to the options listed, but instead he was incredibly accommodating.  We exchanged a few messages and price quotes and he was off to the races.

I have also requested non standard items and Luigi could not be more helpful. Highly recommended.

I have the exact set up. I always thought that summicron was the v3?

Depending on the source, this Summicron is called version III (on my Leica Pocket Book 8th Edition page 168) and this flickr group

Leica Wiki call this Summicron 50mm (I)

and this one here Summicron (II) 50mm

hood designation is not correct...

Meanwhile, the hood in this picture is not ITDOO (like this in Wiki ),

but 12585

My bad, I looked at the Wiki and thought 12585 was ITDOO!

I used the Wiki as reference for my lens.

Beautiful!  Is that matte black paint and the clean top plate from the M-A?

This MP à la carte is a beauty.

Leica even equipped this one with the "right" roundish "R  ewind" lever.

On my M-A this is another type of squarrish lever not so nice as this one.

Strange that on my silver chrome M-A, this type of silver roundish lever was put on it.

...yes - I wanted it totally clean.

And so, I set it free from the leather jacket.

Best,

Jens

I applaud your taste.  If I were going to order a new MP today, it would look exactly like yours.  Very nice indeed.

....I used my new camera for a little project preparing a gift for the arrtist Leo Kornbrust at last weekend in addition of my Hasseblad.

Absolutely a joy to use it and yes, it does take photos;-)
