Would you mind sharing a raw file here? I think there is more detail hidden in the file than we see right now.

Thanks Jaap.I don't mind.

Of course, I retain all the copy rights.

Please do not distribute or repost.

This sharing is for the purposes of exploring the details in the image.

With Hawk ver. 3.0 adapter I found that the plays between adapter/lense and camera are tight enough as such shutter vibration seems became of no issue.

Hi, I have 4 35mm lenses, two from Leica, the Summarit 2,5/35 and the Summicron

2/35 V4.

My Summicron works nicely on the A7, however it shows slight vignetting even at f8.

Thistles on a wintry field near Fladungen, close to the former East German border, slightly cropped.

Have a nice weekend!

Thanks to Karl and others for sharing the results from the A7s. A few mundane samples with Leica 35MM Summliux ASPH (FLE) + A7. No correction made for any vignetting. Overall, I find no issues with this lens on the A7.

Focus was on the birds in the center. Much better results are possible with proper PP - I am still getting used to the new toy.

F8:

Crop from F8, about 20% of the total frame. On my screen, at 200% I can see the texture of the snow and webbed feet of these feathery creatures. I am impressed:

I can only wonder what the A7R can do.

Ravinj,

Thanks for your comment.

To be honset, thanks to the strong wind in that day as such I could make it and I'm not sure if to be able to duplicate the outcomes again.

Therefore, I post other three images taken at the same site.

Best Regards,

Thomas Chen

Hi, my second Leica 35mm is the Summarit. This is apparently my best allround 35mm lens

for the a7. Vignetting indiscernible by f4, nice corners and overall performance.

Below you see the Schillerplatz with the Carnival Fountain (Mainz/Germany).

Pictures like these I do not take for their aesthetic value. They are for trying out lens/camera combinations showing rich detail.

So, forgive me for showing my trials - and errors ...

Have a nice Sunday!
