I still have mine Rob, and love it, but it's fancy newer cousin (the T) is hogging the limelight right now.

Having said that, I'll surely get it out for a bit of use soon. And the splendid images Jacques is turning out inspires me.

LOL Jacques, sounds similar to me traveling Europe in 2013. I purchased a used X1 as we passed through Singapore to go with my M6. The M6 shot a roll and a half, the X1, about 900 stunning memories.

2015, Europe again this time M6 and X-Vario. 6 rolls with the M6, and about 1000 more memories with the X-Vario.

This year? It will be my MP and either the X-Vario (likely) or the T (maybe). And a Hasselblad SWC.

In July, I'm off for a trip through Germany, with a couple of days in Lucerne and a couple in Amsterdam. I will  lose sleep as the time draws near trying to figure out what to take along. It is never easy!  I just see so many fabulous X Vario snaps, along with T and lenses, etc . . .  My hat is off to all of you. :) Rob

Had some time to play with my Vario and Lightroom (and Toshi's camera profiles) again :)

Plus a tripod?

Excellent result with  lovely realistic tones

Beautiful picture! I’m not usually a fan of blurred running water but this works even for me. The perfect composition and vibrant colours bring the whole scene alive. Very nicely done!

Thank you both for your feedback, it is much appreciated. I didn't use a tripod, I used a flat stone to keep the camera steady (1/6s @ f16, ISO 100).
