How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. Thank you Dante. Here below is an image from early December. I posted it here in color back in December and because the Madrona is so distinctive with it's bright green and orange skin, it didn't occur to me to do it in B&W. I did however make an exposure or two with my Monochrom that same day. This evening playing with that file from y MM, i couldn't make anything work so I went and opened my XV file of the Madrona.  I am posting it because I kind of like it.

Thank you for that...the X Vario is en route!  I spoke to a gentleman at Parts in NJ and he assured me thy have the replacement screen in stock. Other than "M9 and MM sensor replacements, the crew there are usually quick with turn around....here's to hoping :)

Went to St. Petersburg (Florida) this past weekend and brought the XV and M9. Got to do a lot of shooting in a new area which was quite inspiring, and here are a few of the pics taken (more to come);

I had the XV with the viewfinder attached and shot at a waist level. Thought I was being a slick street photographer but this nice lady caught me with a sweet smile:)

I received good news from Leica NJ. My diagnosis was apparently incorrect and the LCD screen is perfectly fine. It was only the screen protector that shattered (it did it's job!). I guess I could have tried to pry it off but it looked like a broken screen and I felt I'd do more harm than good trying. My camera it packed and set to go with their morning shipment out. :)
