We had a rough winter and spring is trying to make it's way. This from a walk around the lake yesterday.

Nice rich colors in these images. I'm finding the X Vario to be a good all around camera to keep handy.

Bill,

I kind of agree. Also, while in a sense the RX1R outclasses the X Vario, taking the two together yesterday, my keepers were largely with X Vario!  It also handles water like a Leica M -nicely.

Brigitte, this is a fabulous plant portrait of a beautiful flowering tree. Lovely definition and faithful colour rendering.

Toshi, I like the tonality you've brought out but also the high angle over the rocks in your image here. Your post reminded me, I had some files from late last month when I'd been out with my son along the Nooksack River just under Mount Baker.

With the sun still fairly high I regretted not having an ND filter for my X Vario but was able to get these stopping way down.

So, I haven't disappeared just focusing on my Gila monster project. The XV has been my documentary camera and I've even made a few videos with it. I won't bore everyone with with too many Gila photos, but here is one for posterity:) Hope everyone is doing well!
