JZG John I've no idea why … I have some other images taken in later years which might show a similar interior view so will check … and also check my Silver Ghost owner's manual … which is the nearest I'll ever get to owning or driving a RR Sliver Ghost  dunk EDIT:  Same RR Silver Ghost AX 201 pictured at RREC Rally June 2017 ... Is there a security bar pressing onto the clutch pedal? Welcome, dear visitor! wlaidlaw Posted February 1, 2019 Share #11930  Posted February 1, 2019 Silver Ghost clutches are a bit notorious for sticking engaged. People often ask us what the very low tech wooden rods in our Ghosts are for. One rod for clutch and one for a more accurate view of fuel tank contents. Wilson 1

dkCambridgeshire Posted February 1, 2019 Share #11936  Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) Correct Hektor … well spotted. At last year's RREC Annual Rally at Burghley Park, Stamford,  the club celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the first postwar Earls Court Motor Show and invited other early postwar cars and owners to the event. This particular car is believed to have served as a UK police car … hence the replica bell on o/s front. Your turn Hector Welcome, dear visitor! hektor Posted February 1, 2019 Share #11939  Posted February 1, 2019 Thank-you DK. In fact I may have an advantage. In the fifties the Ford Pilot was a not uncommon car here in Australia.
