The river of my boyhood - for the whole of my life I have known this stretch of water. I was born near it, my first visit to an inn was alongside it. Over time I have fished in it, swam in it, paddled in it. Like life it keeps flowing onward. I went back this morning and it stirred many memories. Leica M240 + 50mm Sunnicron f2. 1/250 f9.5 @ 320iso Gerry

Very old fashioned image this, the kind of thing you might see every week in any camera club anywhere. But despite knowing this uncomfortable fact and even as I began to press the shutter, I took the shot. Stuck in my ways I guess. M9 with 35mm Summicron IV. [/url],

Greetings Folks, Thought to share a photo from an early evening walk around the Thames. Very unlike me, but I used flash too! This shot is on an M9-P with a 28mm Summicron ASPH and an SF24D flash. There are more from the series here: River Thames, Queens Promenade - a set on Flickr Cheers, Edmond

Prague, Ultava Embankment Alongside the river Ultava many new leisure time activities are inviting. Above all these changing business ideas the lovely historic sight provides the true feeling of a happy moment. Olympus EM5 with Nocticron

This guy was shooting the thousandth picture of the day of the Hradschin with the Charles Bridge. The evening sun makes this difficult because of the front light. One can watch people with smartphones, compactcameras, tripods and DSLRs with and without filters and even flashlight against the huge enlightened sky...

We had 5 days in Prague and lovely summerly weather. The evenings were lovely when the major part of the daily crowd had left. Then a wonderful dreamy tranquility could be enjoyed. Olympus EM 5 and Summilux 15 mm

Two days ago we had a nice summer day and so was its evening. The vantage point was deep in the forest opposite the sight. We found a fine bench and picnic facilites even. So we enjoyd a few hours from golden light until dusk. Porta-Westfalica, view on the monument of Kaiser-Wilhelm and the river Weser. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm
