madNbad Posted February 10, 2015 Share #472 Posted February 10, 2015 Add a grey Griptac covering, a bit older Summaron, and our cameras would match! Almost, nice M2 and welcome to the forum.
Trivette Posted February 10, 2015 Share #473 Posted February 10, 2015 Add a grey Griptac covering, a bit older Summaron, and our cameras would match! Almost, nice M2 and welcome to the forum. Thanks. Cosmetically, the M2 is practically perfect except for a tiny amount of abrasion on the bottom plate. Operationally, it is as smooth as silk. Whoever had it before me obviously took good care of it. nickthetasmaniac Posted February 23, 2015 Share #475 Posted February 23, 2015 Some more unashamed camera porn I've rounded out the lens set with a VM Nokton 50/f1.5, which I'm loving so far, bought myself one of Gordy's straps, and I'm waiting on a leather replacement skin (a big chunk of vulcanite just pealed itself off the film door...). I'm in Malaysia at the moment where I've been giving the M2 a solid run with CNY celebrations, so hopefully I'll have some street work to share soon!
nickthetasmaniac Posted March 20, 2015 Share #476 Posted March 20, 2015 The same M2 as above, waiting for some new skin
acolite Posted May 22, 2015 Share #477 Posted May 22, 2015 Just bought a M2 and this is my first time diving into shooting film. I've already taken a few photos and I'm really curious/exciting to see what comes of it. M2 with 35mm Summilux ASPH and a Gordy's leather strap. Welcome, dear visitor! philipus Posted May 22, 2015 Share #478 Posted May 22, 2015 Great looking kit. I find the 35 FLE works really well on film. Just bought a M2 and this is my first time diving into shooting film. I've already taken a few photos and I'm really curious/exciting to see what comes of it. M2 with 35mm Summilux ASPH and a Gordy's leather strap. Matlock Posted May 22, 2015 Share #479 Posted May 22, 2015 Just bought a M2 and this is my first time diving into shooting film. I've already taken a few photos and I'm really curious/exciting to see what comes of it. M2 with 35mm Summilux ASPH and a Gordy's leather strap. I have an early M2 (button rewind) with CameraQuest rewind lever. Used with a Summaron 35mm lens and Voigtlander VC Meter II it is my "go anywhere" camerara. Used as much as my M6TTL or my M7. joseph_galilee Posted June 4, 2015 Share #480 Posted June 4, 2015 The new Leica MA? I do not care; the "old" technology of Leitz is still the maximum possible! Cheers Welcome, dear visitor!
