Alexander108 Posted October 25 Share #2 Posted October 25 Do you mind if I add the question which strap to use?
setuporg Posted October 25 Author Share #3 Posted October 25 Both made of mole leather, as moles also don't need to have those little windows on the front anyways they could be in the bag.
lct Posted October 25 Share #4 Posted October 25 My tiny combi case from the 70s (14825) is waiting for a camera sans Visoflex. It will fit at last hopefully. Welcome, dear visitor! rogxwhit Posted October 25 Share #6 Posted October 25 I would use the same bag that I use for all my cameras - an old hessian feed sack that once belonged to my grandfather. It's so easy to sling over the shoulder. If one is carrying more than one camera and/or lens in it, they rattle erratically together (clock; clock; clock clock) when one is in motion, and I find this comforting.

Goes well with the wooden clogs and beer that protected the Hessian soldiers from the plague. Edited Sunday at 10:19 PM by setuporg
Henners Posted Tuesday at 11:57 AM Share #10 Posted Tuesday at 11:57 AM It fits perfectly in a Tesco bag for life with room to spare for lenses etc. The added advantage of no dividers is you get lovely patina on your gear too.
Kiwimac Posted Wednesday at 10:29 AM Share #11 Posted Wednesday at 10:29 AM Like most here I’ve had/have dozens of bags. My current favourites differ depending on how sketchy the place I’m going to is. Not sketchy at all? Fogg Lyre or Fogg B-Laika. Or a fabulous bitter soft horsehide bag made by a Japanese designer. Or just over my shoulder if the weather’s nice. More sketchy than that: a Pacsafe shoulder bag with the half insert from a Billingham Hadley One inside.
kiwidad Posted yesterday at 02:24 AM Share #12 Posted yesterday at 02:24 AM (edited) Best bag I have found is the Artisan and Artisan ACAM 1000 excellent padding and great access for three lenses in outside padded pocket and two m bodies with a lens attached, viso flex and batteries I carry my m10m m11 28 35 50 and 75 Summilux lenses and 4 batteries in it! They make an identical leather version also. it’s almost like it was made for the m cameras! Edited yesterday at 02:25 AM by kiwidad

I have both, each solid black and over 20 years old, so among my most inconspicuous bags. They were smaller back then, too (and considerably less costly).

To be fair, I find that with almost every bag though. My Billingham Eventer 2 needs a longer one as well. I never wear them on one shoulder, always cross body and I want them to sit about level with my right hand. Usually they’re too high because the strap isn’t long enough. Nigel and bee used to accept custom orders; before she passed, bee had a top strap added to my b-Laika. My Fogg bags all have adjustable straps, as do my more recent Billinghams. That said, I rarely use a bag when out shooting; mostly used for car transport or travel. All of my camera straps have adjustable lengths to easily accommodate different carry methods and/or layers of clothing.
