Elliot Harper Posted yesterday at 02:50 PM Share #3 Â Posted yesterday at 02:50 PM soon will it come with 2.2.4, saying "bug fix in connection with bug fix in connection with lot 6/lot2 6...." and then 2.2.5, saying "bug fix in connection with bug fix in connection with bug fix in connection with lot 6/lot 26..." 1
colonel Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM Author Share #4 Â Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM well I kept 2.2.1 which doesn't have EU committee rubbish, so perhaps I will wait until something extra is added or fixed.
Kravtsovsv Posted yesterday at 03:02 PM Share #5 Â Posted yesterday at 03:02 PM Hmm, I would like more specifics, on the other hand, well, they removed some jambs of their own, what to say about them =)

Again, the firmware description does not list everything that was fixed/added in the firmware.

Malabito Posted yesterday at 05:51 PM Share #14  Posted yesterday at 05:51 PM Quality does not seem to be part of Leica's software department's mission. Or perhaps they just like to be busy..

OK, seems that we could safely infer from the applicability of this regulation to the M11: 1) The Leica M11 "accounts for significant volumes of sales and trade in the EU" 2) The  amassed energy seemingly wasted by longer standby times of all those M11´s "have a significant environmental impact" So, of course we should all be happy to update, so we could be constantly reminded of our collective importance by some sort of text message when we turn on our cameras!  We must all help in saving energy e.g. for use in running the EU activities necessary for this kind of reform work... Somehow, I don´t feel very motivated to update.  2.2.1 works quite well, thank you.
jpark114 Posted yesterday at 08:43 PM Share #20  Posted yesterday at 08:43 PM Updated both my M11-P & M11 Mono with no issue. I was bit hesitant updating to 2.2.2, but since this update is a supposed fix for bug in 2.2.2, I immediately updated from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3. If I knew this was gonna happen, I'd not update from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2.  Anyway, hopefully all the issues are now gone.
