Again, the firmware description does not list everything that was fixed/added in the firmware.

Malabito Posted May 21 Share #14 Posted May 21 Quality does not seem to be part of Leica's software department's mission. Or perhaps they just like to be busy..
Gelatino Posted May 21 Share #15 Posted May 21 Frequent updates are so efficient to prevent old Leica users (like me) from forgetting how to proceed. Thank you Leica !

OK, seems that we could safely infer from the applicability of this regulation to the M11: 1) The Leica M11 "accounts for significant volumes of sales and trade in the EU" 2) The amassed energy seemingly wasted by longer standby times of all those M11´s "have a significant environmental impact" So, of course we should all be happy to update, so we could be constantly reminded of our collective importance by some sort of text message when we turn on our cameras! We must all help in saving energy e.g. for use in running the EU activities necessary for this kind of reform work... Somehow, I don´t feel very motivated to update. 2.2.1 works quite well, thank you.
jpark114 Posted May 21 Share #20 Posted May 21 Updated both my M11-P & M11 Mono with no issue. I was bit hesitant updating to 2.2.2, but since this update is a supposed fix for bug in 2.2.2, I immediately updated from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3. If I knew this was gonna happen, I'd not update from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2. Anyway, hopefully all the issues are now gone.
