The rumored price is 7950€ in Europe. I believe that would be less expensive than an M11-P.

Interesting. That would be the same as M11, at least when I convert it to GBP. Do you have a link to where this was shared or is it something you’ve heard somewhere?

€7950 is where I would guess too. A bit less than the 2025 price for the M11-P. Let’s hope it’s a little more than just an SL3 EVF lumped into an M body.

Let’s hope that it will be all that the proponents expect and that it will sell outside this small group.

That price would make it just under £7k which is about ten percent lower than the M11.

Same as M11 imho can't work... unless you add something appreciable... IBIS... or a hybrid VF (not both, which would justify a significantly higher price and arise doubts on what will be M12...)

Bad comparison. The M1 only had to give up the RF without any alterations but the rumored M wil have to add an EVF including integration in the camera.

Yes... see my post 2618... was just an exercise to imagine some price positioning ... with M1 one had NO focus aid at all (apart resuscitating a gentle FOKOS 😄... still listed at M1 times...)

No, all it has to be is an M with an EVF. There's obviously so much disposable cash flying around with hobbyist camera users that they will sell enough to people who aspire to an M but who are then befuddled by the rangefinder. Expect the price of used M11's to go down as the trade-in's come in.

If this is the case then how do other manufacturers make so much cheaper EVF cameras I wonder? Leica attract a premium but .....

I'd bet a Camembert against a Mascarpone that the M11-V won't have IBIS or a hybrid VF, but EIS and a Q3 EVF. IBIS and/or hybrid would be for the more expensive M12 but my cristal ball is not clear enough about that. You like cheese hopefully :D

I strongly suspect that the EVF will be just as befuddling - To start with, you have to turn some ring on the lens... WHAT???

M11 has EIS, useful only for making the video stream in EVF/LCD stable.

But the snaps taken with their new iPhone 17 Pro XL of the camera itself with a Noctilux on it and sitting next to their cigar humidor and Mont Blanc pen will be so impressive.

Catching-up (finally) with “Severance” on Apple TV+

Loving Mr Milchick moving around to record all the team photos on his lightly disguised M6 without ever adjusting the focus or aperture…🫨

Which I know I miss when visoflex focusing a 90mm on the M10; I.e. will be a very useful feature even if the M-EVF does not get a stabilised sensor.

Yes, magnified focusing is much easier with EIS.
