loalposo Posted April 16 Share #1 Posted April 16 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all. Anyone knows if Match Technical, the makers of the SL2 Thumbs up ( among others), is still in business? Have not been able to find any info online - Interested in finding out if they will be making a thumb support for the SL3 Thanks
Advertisement Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Hi loalposo, Take a look here Thumbs up ( Match Technical) for SL3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ukress Posted April 16 Share #2 Posted April 16 I think in the latest episode of Red Dot Forum Camera Talk they mentioned that Match Technical is working on an updated Thumbs Up for the SL3. Expected in June or thereabouts.
loalposo Posted April 17 Author Share #3 Posted April 17 Thanks for the info! I had actually started to watch that episode but had not gotten to that part yet. I find the thumbs up useful in getting a good grip on the camera. Or maybe I just got used to using it. 😀
ukress Posted April 17 Share #4 Posted April 17 I've never used a Thumbs Up on a SL body, but I always liked them (or the Leica ones) on the Q and (digital) M models. Might give it a try when the SL3 version comes around and I manage to find one.
