Switching to private mode worked for my MacBook and Safari.  I can now see jpeg uploads.

I continue to have the problem on both Chrome and Safari.

I logged out, deleted the cookies, logged back in but no luck. The site is still slow and images do no load. I got the following message when I clicked on a JPEG link:

"There was a problem that occured while connecting to luf-jnet.b-cdn.net origin server. The server hosting the website might be unavailable."

Short update, the dust is settling:

Right now we have 3 issues that might cause problems:

  1. Update forum software
  2. Search index
  3. CDN problems

Update forum software:

  • The update was made on Wednesday
  • Some files were changed but old versions weren't update in the caches.
  • All caches on my side are now update.
  • Please log out, empty your browser cache, log in again

Search index

  • As we had problems with our search index I switched to another (much slower version)
  • … and then I forgot to switch back…
  • New index is built right now, still needs some hours, but most things should work. Much faster…

CDN problems

  • My internet provider is blocking the access for some regions: Texas, New York, Hongkong
  • I'm working with the support to fix this.

Today I didn’t have to log in again and the photos are visible again. 😃😃😃

When using the Private Mode the access to the forum comes from the Apple relay servers not over the affected CDN servers, thus this might make the difference.
