  1. No. I have a tripod but haven't used it in years.
  2. D-Lux 7. Fern bluff near Cedar Park, Texas.
  3. Lovely image demonstrating the sharpness/macro capability of the D-Lux 7 lens
  4. New life from old roots. My first image with my new D-Lux 7. RAW file processed with PSE covered to B&W using the Leica standard monochrome profile, exposure tweaked, a bit of dodging and burning, slight vignette and slight toning added.
  5. New life from old roots. My first image with my new D-Lux 7. RAW file processed with PSE using the Leica vivid color profile, exposure tweaked, a bit of dodging and burning, slight vignette added.

  7. Was the 75mm zoom good enough for this image or did you have to use the digital zoom? Nicely composed either way.
  8. Your macro-photography with the D-Lux 7 is impressive. When I was trying to decide whether to buy a D-Lux 7, my research turned up a post in this form, I think, where you praised the camera and your post included a link to your D-Lux 7 images in Flickr. The quality of those images was a factor in my decision to purchase the D-Lux 7.
  9. Thanks for the post. I'm a little older than you and I'm thinking about the D-Lux 7. Your post is helping me in that decision. Lovely image, and glad to hear your testimony about the quality of the camera.
  10. Here's a professional photographer who reviewed the Leica Q and found the digital zoom "immensely useful." http://www.minimallyminimal.com/blog/leica-q
