Ho, the ultimate Restaurateur.

All he ever needed was an excuse to generate a party atmosphere in his restaurant. Cheap Chinese food, but plenty of bon homie and if he got a whisper that someone had a birthday, or anniversary, he turned streamers, balloons, party hats, jewels etc on for the entire restaurant. He peddled (cheap) whisky at no charge and insisted on drinking with everyone. It was a riot most nights. He had crackers and fireworks and an electronic cracker machine that fired of regularly. I think he was regularly fined, but it didn't seem to stop him. A very lively character.
