Mostly it's the 35 Summicron but here it is with the 50.

I hate my M6. Can't wait to replace it with a M4-P. It's not as smooth as my other leicas i owned. And it has been to two different CLA this year.

I'm sorry, but an M4-P is just the same camera like an M6 without battery.;)

For better quality, think perhaps of an MP or the very new M-A.

… or another M6.

It is funny how people always claim that or that M model is the smoothest.

I have tried many, still own a few and you know what the smoothest M body of all I have ever tried is indeed? My silver chrome classic M6.

My MP is smooth too but it feels like a tractor compared to the classic M6 I have.

People have offered me sweet deals to take that M6 away from me but I will never sell the smoothest M I have ever tried.

I think you have to have a bit of luck and find THAT one body that feels right, no matter what the model is.

So true!;) my best leica was a old scratched M4-P. It was fantastic. But sometimes you have to sell something you like. After all, they are just things.

Leica Fanatic, I too had a reddish "black dot" on my M6 until I replaced it with a properly painted one.

Drat, foiled again. :)

It's strange how Black permanent marker is nothing of the sort.

I've since painted it black :-
