Anyone know how I can get a black Leica Dot?

Simples, take one red dot and paint it with black model enamel.

I did http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/showpost.php?p=2754908

I know for a fact Leica will not provide a Black Dot unless you can give the serial number of an M that originally came with one AND is registered in your name AND address.

Mine didn't come with a black dot but I still received one for free. At the time my TTL went to Solms it wore the red dot which I had painted black.

My new (to me) M6 classic. Sourced via Japan Camera Hunter. Very happy so far. Filter is a #8 yellow, which I leave on all the time as I only shoot Tri-X or TMAX.

Incidentally, the strap is the "f" model from UPstrap, which has worked out very well.
