Not very original but one of my greatest source of inspiration for photography are my daughters. Seeing them grow, observing their habits and micro gestures. I feel that always having a camera ready to shoot helps me to observe and know them better. It also slows down a rapidly fleeing time. There is lot of beauty to uncover in everyday life.

For this particular shot, we were planning to play outdoor but the weather changed and we ended up indoor. Quite challenging with iso 200 and the Hektor 28mm.

Inspired by Peter Henry Emerson and the other Victorian Broadland photographers. https://www.onlandscape.co.uk/2020/09/peter-henry-emerson/

Over the last few decades I have made a few pictures that I am reasonably happy with, but none over this short two week timescale.

This picture of our Victorian boatshed was taken last week with a Leica 111 and 50mm Xenon lens at between f1.9 and f2.2 on Pan F in Moersch Tanol. Copy of a darkroom print. The shed would have been new at the end of Emerson’s active period, the boats would have been wooden, as some are today, and the car on the right would have been a horse drawn wagon.

Inspired by Flavors

I have been experimenting with additions to the horseradish I serve with grilled bratwurst. This odd looking combination is my favorite so far. Just a bit of Worcestershire adds saltiness and umami without altering the essential taste of the horseradish. And just a bit of Frank's adds warmth without adding too much heat. As with photo processing, if the taster (viewer) can identify what I have added (done) I have added (done) too much. Hence the only slightly burned in upper corners of the image.

Leica IIIf with Visoflex II and 65/3.5 Elmar. Ilford HP5 Plus developed with Adox FX-39.

Architecture, particularly brutalist architecture has alway fascinated and inspired me. There is a bicycle path under the  bridge and I come along this spot quite often. Once in a while I stop and make another photo...

Inspired by the Waterwall at the NGV, this little girl rushed over to place her hands on the glass briefly. During this shoot, I got a number of other images in other situations that I could post in this competition, but as usual I have probably chosen the wrong one. Bad self editing!

Camera:Leica 111f

Lens: Summitar 50mm f2.0

Film: Ilford HP5+, rated at 800iso

The building of the "Elbphilharmonie" in Hamburg is obviously inspired by ships. Some visitors prefer to look for the real ones.

Mir kam die Idee, daß man den Verschluß der alten ICA Atom wieder zum Laufen bringen könnte:
