I've just picked up the Voigtlander 10mm f5.6 in an M mount. I love it already.

Canary Wharf, London from my balcony.

A daytime shot of this view taken during the day and rendered in B&W. I'm looking forward to getting out with this lens for a proper tryout.

Bill, you are a futurist; you photographed her how she would be in couple of years.... ;)

I wont touch that one. One thing I found was that I drained my battery while out shooting. First time I have ever done that. I have another that will arrive tomorrow.

Another but no belly dancers. The center one reminded me of the lady driving the motor scooter Louis. Nice tattoos.

Wow, she is a “Leicaphil” too. No wonder why she let you get the CL while you already have other Leica cameras. Be careful, CL would not be secure with she around. She is going to love it. :)

Your horse shot is really nice. Great framing and beautiful colors.... BTW, I posted a second scooter shot for you in the same thread. ;)

It never happened to me to drain a battery. I happen to have 4 for CL and I only use RAW. On a 16 GB card, I get 339 shots, but never get that far.

Enjoy your new camera, my friend; and, my best to Alice.

Thanks Louis. Alice already handled the CL and she did really like it. She is not a hard core photo taker. She had the V114 because it will zoom to 400 and she can take shots of birds in our backyard.

Wow 4 batteries. I shoot usually jpg + dng. I just have always. Not sure if that uses more battery or not. I also use just a 16 gig card and usually carry another with me. I am not sure it the CL has a way to check battery usage. I know some folks turn off the back screen and that would save a lot of battery. Well hope you had a good 4th and will convert later.
