helged Posted December 31, 2017 Share #401 Posted December 31, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) What a cool shot. Was this the CL on the curbstones, with the 18 mm? Thanks. Yes, I put the camera on the curbstones, with a view slightly above the ground (and myself on the knees to great entertainment for the locals ). The lens was the 23mm TL. All the best for the new year!

mmanda Posted December 31, 2017 Share #402 Posted December 31, 2017 Great shots, and a remarkably friendly, scruffy-looking bird. Do they really laugh? They laugh a lot, especially when in a group together. The laughter is hilarious. She looks scruffy after a plunge into my swimming pool to cool down on a hot summer day. When I was a kid we went on a school excursion to The Healesville Sanctuary (in Victoria, Australia) the whole class was taken into a classroom and we started singing the nursery rhyme Kookaburra ... it goes like this: Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree Merry merry king of the bush is he LAUGH Kookaburra laugh Gay your life must be... There were about 4 - 6 Kookaburras with us in the room and every time we got to the Laugh part - they'd all start laughing with us. Still makes me smile thinking of it now! http://alldownunder.com/australian-music-songs/kookaburra-song.htm sorry for getting a bit off topic!

Popular Post Louis Posted January 1, 2018 Popular Post Share #405 Posted January 1, 2018 CL discovers the colors of Wynwood One of the most popular attractions in Miami is, without any doubt, the Wynwood area. The colorful walls of this neighborhood are famous all over the world to those who are interested in this kind of art, and also to many others. I only wish cars were not allowed to park in these narrow streets and alleys. This was another test for my CL that was passed beautifully... What an amazing little camera! These are all shot with CL and Vario Elmar-T 18-56. A very comfortable combo for shooting in crowded places. If you wish to continue your visit for more colorful samples, please check this link: http://objectif.zenfolio.com/p233243966#ha0b61165

scott kirkpatrick Posted January 3, 2018 Share #419 Posted January 3, 2018 (edited) This one's for the pixel-peepers. A bunch of gov't buildings seen at a healthy distance with the 55-135 at full extension. Lots of tiny offices with windows and AC units to resolve. Tripod, 2 sec delay. I don't think you get it all by clicking, so here's the direct link https://flic.kr/p/224u33f . scott Edited January 3, 2018 by scott kirkpatrick
scott kirkpatrick Posted January 3, 2018 Share #420 Posted January 3, 2018 I don't think Flickr is pushing the full sized file of the picture above., so here's a link to a DropBox copy: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uigeoj8u31sxx8h/C1000404%201.jpg?dl=0 .
