LFI, thank you very much for choosing this shot to LFI portrait gallery. Once again you are being generous to me and I am very grateful for this honor. :)

Congratulations!

She was gorgeous, but she could not stand still so I could manually focus her right with my Nikkor 50mm, f/1.4!

lovely photo, Louis. If she had been still, what would you have wanted different? If it that the front (right lens) of her sunglasses is just a bit less sharp?

Totally gorgeous Louis, and agree with bags27, not sure what you would to be better - not all about sharpness to me.

Thank you very much, dear friends. I only wish I had more sharpness on the face, eyes and hair. Her cloth is ok, but she kept moving and talking to her friends, and there was lots of people passing by. I just wanted to be done with it!... lol

In this situation, if I had a AF lens and the camera set on continuous focusing, it could help. ;)

Rob, what a great shot with gorgeous colors and definition.

I have an old AI Nikkor 300mm lens, but too lazy to use it. I made some tests a while ago with my T, and I was very surprised with the good results. I think Nikkor lenses still work great on T and CL. Even the old AI and MF ones! ;)

A little like Louis beautiful lady shot above, I wish I had had time to think this one out, but my grandson was running around in a park and quickly left this spot - with a little time, I would have upped the iso and maybe been able to avoid the obvious movement of his head - nevertheless I really love the image and will return to try again another time.   It is part of an old narrowboat hull left on the edge of a children's park and has been very beautifully sculpted (can't think of a better way to describe it) with butterflies, birds and leaves. The light in there could be magical on a better day, we had grey skies and rain for the first time in ages today.   CL -18-56
