hellobrandonscott Posted July 26, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 26, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Been about 1.5 years since switching to Leica and really digging the patina these SL2-S's have been gathering from regular use. Also incredibly impressed with how rugged these cameras have been. They hit door knobs, set in dirt, rained on, etc. and just take the abuse so well. Easily the best cameras I've ever used. Can't wait to see what these look like in another couple years. Welcome, dear visitor! hansvons Posted July 27, 2022 Share #4 Posted July 27, 2022 My copy isn’t as beaten-up as yours but can’t sell for mint anymore. Takes some carelessness without complaint and makes you less worried about the camera when on an assignment, which pays into my photography. But that is the main reason why I bought the camera in the first place. Besides, colours are second to none.
chris_tribble Posted July 28, 2022 Share #5 Posted July 28, 2022 Great to hear a positive comment on reliability. My SL2s have been rock solid - but there have been others with less positive experiences. Patina? My black chrome M6TTL still looks good as new - and it really took a beating during its working life!
