Well, I “scored” as 28mm. I have tended to use SLR mid-range zooms at 30mm to 32mm. During photo walks with a 28mm and another lens, if I have started shooting any camera, with the 28mm lens, it has been unusual for me to switch to the different lens. 28mm lenses are very good for photographing my active, pre-school-age grandsons, because I can zone or scale focus, rather than taking the time to use the rangefinder. Yet, I do not feel constrained, if a 35mm is my only lens for the day’s walk-about, and the same is true with a 50mm, or even a 90mm or 100mm lens. My absolute favorite individual M-mount lens is my Summilux-M 50mm ASPH, it being my motivation for adding the Leica M system, in 2018.

So, I will not argue that I should not have been scored as a 28mm shooter, but I will assert my freedom from being limited to 28mm. 🙂

My 28mm Leica lenses, in order of acquisition, are an Elmarit-R 28mm f/2.8, used with a Novoflex LEM/LER adapter, a Version 3 Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8, and a Summaron 28mm f/5.6 LTM. I have more 50mm lenses, than 28mm lenses.

Who will be the first to score the elusive 35mm?

I was surprised to see that before Crony and Sebben posted their 18 and 135 respectively the 'score' included nothing but 50 (x10) and 28 (x6). I had begun to suspect that there were only two outcomes possible...

50mm, which is a relief as I have four of them!  Anyway, a bit of lighthearted amusement.

Hmm, on the other hand I also have four 35mm lenses - maybe I should sell them all eight and buy just a 40mm...

It called me a 28mm. Funny, I do not own a 28, and likely never will. I am a 50mm person98% of the time.

But this was a question of your inner focal length. Maybe you just have not realized it yet. 😉

I think, on reflection, that the quiz isn't aimed at suggesting which focal-length any of us would most enjoy shooting with but is more in the vein of;

"If you - as an individual - were a lens focal-length which lens would that be?"...

There is a bug! The result says 28mm.

I tried to cheat to "confirm" I'm a 35mm guy (the truth), and it results I'm a 50mm now 🤦‍♂️

Now I'm going to report Leica Miami Store 🤣

This garbage is exactly like those internet article's headline like "here is 5 reasons why you need xxyy", I don't read any articles like that, it will dumb you down.  I have a feeling that it's steering our mind to one direction only.  Stay away from this kind of things and be yourself, use every sense or yours.  We don't need spoon feeding or so call "expert" to tell us what we need.  Wake up people!

You cheated too much – and ended up beyond 35mm. 😉

75mm. A focal length i don't dislike at all but one of my least used actually. i'm so obviously a 50mm guy that the relevance of this test leaves me wondering.

Amen!  I was surprised to get identified as a 75.  I was hoping to be a 50 to help me rationalize an apo Summicron!
