  1. 1) I like the look of my aging MP240 and it still takes wonderful pictures 2) I can't say how much better because I haven't tried any newer M bodies. 3) For sure the 60MP is better for larger prints M system cannot do everything for sure. If you are shooting in low light and moving subjects then you probably need a really reliable auto focus system. That's why I got the Nikon Z8. I almost nail everything shot of my dog fetching a ball using a 70-200 2.8s @f2.8 normally you don't shoot @2.8 for this situation but it passed my test anyway. I still don't know how my camera predicts where my dog will go next but the 3D tracking works much better than the Z7 I previously owned. See my test photos attached, it was hand held and super relax and causally done like how I use my iphone - amazing right! (The photos are sorted in reversed order). I know Sony A7 or A9 have better focus system if not par. I'm interested to know if leica SL system is able to do this also, I didn't pick SL because it's way out of my budget. I have another system for studio shoot, it's a medium format 100MP camera. The AF is slow, jerky and inaccurate in terms of object tracking but the images are stunning! Disclaimer: I'm not recommending Z8, I'm just sharing my experience. It's not nice doing this on a Leica forum - you know what I mean. Good luck!
  2. I have fun with my MP240 and love the RF experiences. I have also learned its limitations, therefore instead of upgrading I move on to different systems. Now I have most photography needs covered like focus speed, resolution, dynamic range, etc… I still keep the MP240 and 2 M lenses for few things that it’s good at. I’m interested to know what are you expecting for upgrading to a newer M body?
  3. I recommend joining the flicker groups specifically created for these lenses, you can see which one to your liking. I do this every time.
  4. I was shopping for a gift and came across this 360 camera by insta360. Its lens is made by Leica and it's a summicron f2.2 ASPH which seems to be pretty good. I don't have the time to find out much by myself, can anyone share some experiences? Thanks.
  5. “Favorite” but not “favor” that’s embarrassing… love and hate the keyboard predictive words.
  6. 24Lux has been my personal favor for M body. Some people who hated it, keep hating it but nothing is wrong - it's just personal preference. If you find it fit your needs, it's yours.
  7. Exactly. It's like getting big paychecks without the need to work - it's quite often seen the new generation on social media. Some people would buy a Nikon Z9 or Sony A9 and just burst shooting 120/fps on random things and hoping for 1 good image. I really have no idea where was it coming from.
  8. First step, you need to learn how to accomplish eating without digesting.
  9. Your mannequin friends ain't moving for 8 seconds in this photo.
  10. Just a question to yourself, when you use a 24-70 zoom lens. Do you use 24 more or 28 more? I bet you’re always on either 24 or 70 only.
  11. These are high value commodities, for the same reason, I avoid high commissions & fees thus I use craigslist take cash at police station + bill of sales. Doing so, you will get many scam email but use your intelligent to filter them.
  12. Leica Wetzlar does this as curtesy if you’re visiting and dropping off your gears in person. It’s very special if you shipped them in with quick turnaround, I think it’s new service then…
  13. Sorry for the confusion, I have one myself. I was just curious there are still new old stock out there. Congrats you found the last one. It's an AMAZING lens!
  14. Does it have NOS? I don't see it available in new anywhere, plenty of used ones.
  15. Interestingly, I don't use any of these methods to focus rangefinder.
