Your focusing skills are terrific. I mean, this is a fast moving object and you've nailed it in every one. You have also managed to figure out how to post 11 images in the same post without going over the limit and still maintain high quality.

Which settings do you use ? I use jpeg mini and when I'm lucky I can post two images in one post

There are no settings, except for size which I set at max 2000 and something, I can’t remember exactly. Depending on the photo I usually get a file around 250kb, sometimes a lot less, sometimes a lot more.

Edit: sometimes you can get the size down even more by passing the result from jpegmini into imageoptim https://imageoptim.com/mac or vice versa

My main 50mm is the Canon LTM 50 1.2. Does anyone can say how the Heliar compares to this old gem?

Best regards

Stephan

The LTM's bokeh is smoother in the center with more swirl in the peripheries. Good copies have less glow than the Heliar, but those with haze may have more. The Heliar is significantly smaller and lighter. Overall the Heliar has more consistent performance across the frame.

I like the lens - Voigtländer has brought out interesting lenses in recent years.
