Not seeing much of this topic, but the Summilux-M is my primary lens for auto auctions, auto shows (when crowds are large, it would be the 35 FLE), Though the 50 is special and never disappoints me. Oh and, of course, it always produces lovely people portraits. Cheers. Recent addition to the garage...shot wide open.

Summilux 28mm on the SL2-S

Why are the photos still being over saturated when uploading to LUF? What would I be doing wrong in the export ?

Have you tried exporting as sRGB?  My system says the file is Adobe RGB.

I mean that the actual rendering is not realy what you look for/like, but you can't change the way the site treats your files with that final color mood .

it's the opinion I got from your complain about the" over saturated colors" of your pictures when they appear on the site.

So it is absolutely not about any lack of skillness in taking pictures or post processing them. Relax , I'm here for fun too 😘

thanks for posting this series of pics shot on the 28 Lux... your pics (especially the ones on your IG page shot with this lens) convinced me that this is the lens I’ve been looking for to tell my stories, so just ordered one before the upcoming price increase.

I'm very relaxed. I'm just trying to understand what part of the process I am doing wrong so I asked you for more precisions.

Also, last week, before the site was updated, everything was fine. I havent changed anything in my workflow. It has to do with the update. There is something I need to adjust.

On my iMac, which has a color-space that goes a little way beyond sRGB, the images don't to my eye look oversaturated.  On a different monitor, with a hardware sRGB profile, they do look slightly different (not that I would say they are unpleasant and the character of the lens comes through very strongly).  Many devices may only be able to display the sRGB gamut.

I see in the jpeg files they have an AdobeRGB profile.  Elsewhere on this site there are instructions to save jpegs with an sRGB profile.  If something seems to have changed for images where the profile was AdobeRGB, perhaps the software update has changed the way files are handled?

My suggestion would be save one of the files with sRGB profile and see if you are happier with the result.

Summilux-M 1:1.4/50 ASPH @ 1.4.  Leica M3, Fuji Superia 400 in dim light.  Is this the Karbe magic rendering we're looking for?
