Great video - excellent picture quality, very sharp, and also very good sound as well.

It's the first time I shot video with a still camera when I wished I'd shot more of it. Previously I've wondered why have have video in a perfectly good still camera but maybe I should have a go at it more :-)

Great handling of the sunset -- did you need to PP to compress the DR a bit or is this all to the camera's credit? BTW which lens did you use?

Two night shots. The first one ISO 6400 f 3.5 1/50sec. The second one ISO 1600 f 3.5 1/6 sec. Grain in one, some movement in the other.

Agreed, lovely light in the beach scene.

And LoBa - your black and white of that baby with those wonderful eyes is a beauty!

I know I'm not alone in saying how much I appreciate everyone who is taking the time to share their photos no matter whether they're tests shots... It's great to see them all.

In the garden .... ditto

Although the sensor is identical.... for some reason these photos need much less sharpening than their XV counterparts for optimum detail ....

..... I am beginning to wonder why I have an M ........I never print over A2 ... and full size on a 27" iMac they look the same as M images ......
