Hands of the luthier. My friend and one of the best violinmakers of Russia (of all time) - Igor Ulitsky, winner of the Tchaikovsky and Wieniawski Competition (luthier section). He is making a new soundpost for my Ulitsky violin. :)

Cycling round the neighbourhood with the M10R BP

Enjoying the experience of this amazing camera, but I dread going lower than 1/125th of a second on any exposure due to the risk of camera shake, which sometimes shows up dreadfully, even when I brace myself against a wall or similar. Sensor dust also seems impossible to avoid and I have plenty of spots after just two weeks. However, with such high resolution, I feel I could just take every shot with a 21mm and crop in editing 😆

M10R + 35mm Summicron IV (first 4) and 28mm Elmarit-M ASPH (last)

I wouldn't worry too much about camera shake unless you are cropping very heavily. It might look bad pixel peeping at such high resolution, but when you're looking at the image as a whole it's no better / worse than the 24mp cameras. Also, running the image through Topaz sharpen on the motion blur setting will usually clean up any major issues.

With the M10R's high ISO performance, unless it's very dark I usually don't feel the need to sacrifice shutter speed for ISO, especially with the noise reduction software available today.

The sensor cleaning is a bit more of a process compared with other mirrorless cameras, but if the rocket blower is leaving too much dust behind a felt tipped sensor cleaning pen works wonders to dislodge any clingy dust. The sensors are very hardy and you really don't need to worry about regular cleans - I will usually quickly clean the sensor the night before heading out and it becomes very routine 👍
