erl Posted October 10, 2020 Share #63 Posted October 10, 2020 OK. I guess I'm the first cab off the rank. Shot my image. Thought: Can we, at some stage, have an 'outtakes' thread. Saves wastage of alternative images (that are usually better than the submitted ones! 😁 ). P.S. Don't forget the Night Comp folks!
NigelG Posted October 10, 2020 Share #64 Posted October 10, 2020 Late to the party but I’ll try to find some water this afternoon (forest hiking so might just be the rain...unless I can get a detour or two on our route-map 🤔)
andybarton Posted October 10, 2020 Author Share #65 Posted October 10, 2020 Well, the weather forecast was as good as always. No problem finding water around here today... 2
lanetomlane Posted October 10, 2020 Share #66 Posted October 10, 2020 Don't forget, anyone taking part in the Challenge today should stick with One Challenge tradition of starting off in a Pub, or Bar and having a couple before pressing the shutter. Good luck to everyone. Cheers, Tom

earleygallery Posted October 10, 2020 Share #72 Posted October 10, 2020 Well that was really hard! Dull day around here and I had to view a flat at 14:30pm (the only time I could get in until next weekend) so my challenge started after that. I did kind of start off in a pub, had to kill some time before the viewing, but it was just me and the barmaid in the pub. An appropriately lonely challenge day for this very different year! The dinner this evening won't be quite the same either.
stunsworth Posted October 10, 2020 Share #73 Posted October 10, 2020 I have my shot, I'm just hoping that it's ok to interpret 'water' in a general sense <grin>.
250swb Posted October 10, 2020 Share #74 Posted October 10, 2020 I enjoyed that. I nearly gave up after 45 minutes because of the light but persistence hopefully gave me something usable.
christoph_d Posted October 10, 2020 Share #75 Posted October 10, 2020 Water was the appropriate theme! It was grey, drizzling, rainy and windy almost all afternoon... (I almost felt as if back in the UK 🤫). I managed to get some pictures though, so now choices have to be made...
Mo(w)gli Posted October 10, 2020 Share #76 Posted October 10, 2020 I had Sun for a few minutes, running to the beach. Just take 8 shots, let’s hope for the best. 👍🏻
NigelG Posted October 10, 2020 Share #77 Posted October 10, 2020 No pics possible here due to family issue this afternoon but looking forward to seeing the entries and hopefully maybe actually travelling to a challenge if we can in 2021 (or 2022 or 2023...) andybarton Posted October 10, 2020 Author Share #79 Posted October 10, 2020 We were very, very lucky with the weather. Didn’t get rained on at all after all that.
Gibbo Posted October 10, 2020 Share #80 Posted October 10, 2020 Scattered showers here. Still, I've taken the winning shot! Sincerely doubt that it will be the one I submit 😂😂 1
