First of three selects from my initial venture with the M10M back in January.  All with the 50mm f/2 APO-Summicron-M and no post-processing.  LOVE the tones.  Now I just need to work on my rangefinder focusing skills to keep up with this little one...

This was a gift from my wife's aunt whose husband brought it from the Gold Coast (now Ghana) sometime in the late 1940s. The model for it must have been extraordinarily beautiful. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but it's extremely dense, hard and heavy. This probably belongs in a museum collection and may end up there some day.

Is it a bird?  Is it a plane? No, it is Super...  Have been trying to work out what the object levitating above the tree-line is!
