I think blown highlights are not a Monochrom problem but a digital problem. The handling of highlights is still the big advantage of film.

Definitely true elmars!

I didn‘t mean to blame the Camera. The weeks I had it were joy.

I meant that for my findings these mono sensors seems to need another approach in exposure or better to say a more accurate exposure settings?

I am not sure. I just remembered the same „problems“ for me as a colour shooter when working with a Mono camera.

No one high contrast scene has been shown yet. The same problem as with the previous models? A „bad weather“ camera?

Sometimes all we have is bad weather...wanted to get out and try the camera, regardless of wind, snow, sleet, or rain.

The M10-M ist definitetly not a bad weather camera. By the way: Bad weather for a digital camera is a hazy sky. On a sunny day the EV difference between a blue sky and the surrounding is little; on a hazy day the sky is much brighter than the surrounding.

Really? That’s amazing. I always thought only sunshine is good for taking pictures. Just another lesson learned. But be quiet, we have to be careful the Admin is around the corner

Flat, no processing at all, followed by mag.

ISO 3200, 1/250, f/4

Quite an improvement over earlier MM versions, eh?
