For pixel-peepers -- I snuck out of quarantine for an essential activity.  Shooting a neighborhood adjacent to our university under a mix of sun and shadow, using the 120 S.  The full panorama at full resolution breaks Preview, as does the 70% rendering.  So this is just the center of a 70% rendering.  Flickr enlarges it somewhat if you click through

and here is a single frame (at 70%):

A “Shelter in Place” order went into effect in the San Francisco Bay Area last night starting at midnight, so I decided one last sunset at my favorite scenic overlook would be a good idea.  Easy enough to practice social distancing on Grizzly Peak.  Took the SL2, a 50mm Summicron SL (thank you Camera West!), and a 90-280.  I brought a tripod as well, though these were all handheld.  IBIS did fine, even at 1/10s, 180mm. Recent rain had cleared out the air quite a bit to the point you could easily make out the Farallon Islands about thirty miles past the Golden Gate.  Lovely cloud formations, and it was great seeing the city looking so normal.

I was really pleased with how the 50mm handled the intense backlight of direct sun wide open at f/2.
