I chose to put this in the general Q2 Image thread so as to not confuse with the Q2 Monochrome thread. Out in a local park today following a snowstorm and walking with my Q2. I converted this to monochrome in LR. Q2, 1/320, f/5, ISO 100, handheld.

Hello Q2.

After my initial post in this thread about the Q2 and my wish to get one, I did sell my CL + lenses and here I am 🙂

Went for a quick walk last night to get some test shots in. Swimming in pixels......

Getting Lubed.  A little WD-40 for my knee and I am good for another 8 months or 1000 miles dragging a camera around.

Tis the season.     Macro and a very slight crop of a candle on our Christmas tree.  My wife will never let me light them for some reason.

ISO 800, f5.6, 1/5 sec on tripod with 2 sec delay.

Posted this in the Macro section, too.  Hope that is OK.  If not, feel free to remove one of them.

This was made from about 20 feet away and cropped in LR.  In all my years of living at this location, I've never seen a dragonfly like this one.   It would appear usually the same time everyday on my deck step.  I would go out and sit there and it would appear out of nowhere and keep me company.  As long as I stayed still, so it did, too.  If I walked away, it would follow me and light nearby.  When I went back into the house it would fly away somewhere - returning when I did.  Adding to the abstract, there was not another one to be found anywhere around my property.  Coincidence or unexplained mystery of life?  I recently lost the very last surviving member of my family about a month before it appeared.  What does it all mean?  Perhaps we will never know.
