How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Playing around with my Canon 70D and the Leica Vario 28-90 R  a few days ago I thought I shot this pot plant, not to bad for a APS-C  Sensor.

I remember this DSLR  cost me around 1100 dollars, thats still cheaper then the Leica R to SL adapter.

Same pot plant, but shot 6 years ago with the Leica M240, same lens, using the Mickey Mouse EVF.

After locking up several times I got rid of the M240 as I was not impressed with it.

Shame it cost me around 7000 aud.

Leica R8 +  ELMARIT-R 180mm f/2.8 (Pre APO)- Fuji Provia 100 slide film,   Scanner -MINOLTA DIMAGE Scan Elite 5400 mk 2.

Shot some years ago, all gone now, I think they were taken over by Austrian.
