How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 1000 kB (2000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Another shot taken with the Elmarit-M 2.8/21 (pre-ASPH version) on a Leica M2 with Fuji Superia 400.  An interesting lens:  disappointing on digital, superb on film (like so many lenses designed in the film era).  A fallen tree in the woods, showing how easily the roots are torn up in the soft chalk soil during a wind-storm.

Experimenting with Rollei RPX 100 and deep red filter.  Processed in Rodinal 1:25 for 8 minutes at 20C and scanned with the Plustek 8200i.

Your photo here has inspired me to purchase some HP5+.  I've always used Tri-X, but the Ilford is quite a bit cheaper at the moment, and if I can get results close to what you achieved, I'll be very happy with it.

Hi doublee, hp5 is always my go to films, since it’s way cheaper than trix, and kentmere used to play well alongside hp5 for a more economical reasons, but i think i prefer HP5 in any case and combined with the developer, i could experiment more with the results i expect to see
