How did you produce these digital images from film?  It's quite hard to evaluate the "graininess" of the images from these scans.  A scan at 4000ppi producing a 24MPixel image would give a much better view of the grain.

Simply by looking at prints! I ,1st noticed this, grain from lenses in a portrait/fashion shoot. Used Leica M3 with 135mm Hektor (lousy lens) and a 135mm Super Takumar on a Pentax Spotmatic. Same film exact same film, making actual prints in wet darkroom.  Tri-X originaI . I am not high tech, NOR care. Seldom made prints bigger than 6x9 inches...  I have done very large prints for clients. 9ft x 27ft.. The samples shown are Kentmere 400. MP race not work for me!  Used Pentax Optio professionally for internet work and work prints 8" x 12" 3.5 MP. 2004. Oh! The Hektor had less grain! Seen so called APO lenses (not Leica) being more grainy, indicating not true APO. A few friends of mine major pros also seen it.

These are scans from Canonscan (street find). Big enough for prints  and sharing on media.

Pre COVID the lunch rush on Weller in Seattle's International District was jam packed with workers heading to restaurants.  This photo is from last week, May 2022.  Many restaurants are shuttered and those open are barely able to keep going with the thin lunch business.  This is the new normal,

Leica MP with 50mm Summicron DR on Rollei RPX 100 developed in Rodinal 1:25 for 8 min@ 20C and scanned with Plustek 8200
