Here's one with a close-up cropped from the same image. Bear in mind the cropped image is fairly close to the edge of the original frame.

I also took a photo from about 7m of a bloke holding up a newspaper and the smallest text was just about readable. As it was "Socialist Worker" and a bit offensive, have not posted it.

Here's another close-up for sharpness. The gentleman of the press was originally framed at 35mm, but the crop is removed to show the extent of the close-up. Leica lettering clearly legible.

ISO 100, F/1.7 1/250 OIS on.

Could you tell us whether this image had any post processing done in Lightroom?

EXIF data on the flickr page says that it was processed in Lightroom 5.5 on a Mac.  These have some of the nicest daylight colour I've seen from the Q yet.  It gives me more incentive to buy one.

Nico1974, I just wanted to say I absolutely love your minimalistic approach to photography ... these and your Flickr page are full of superb shots, with a really distinctive visual signature.

How much are you doing in post?  Looks like some colour keying, vignetting ... do you mind sharing your process a little?

My guess, blown skies extremely recovered in post?

Hi yes i played around with the hues, vibrance and saturation for the color channels, mainly using one of the pictures as template (the cathedral church), and copy and paste to the other ones to maintain the look of the blue sky that i like.

I guess when i pasted to the other pictures, it created some weird highlight effects on the trees.. i just realized that when someone mentioned it here.

And yes a hint of sharpening too.

Do I spot a film Nikon (FM/E style) hanging from his neck?

I wish I hadn't deviated away from the confines of the 240 section... The Q is a wonderful looking camera capable of producing some amazing quality in the right hands. That unused Fuji X-T1 and lenses is looking dangerously close to eBay :-)
