Because its his camera and he can do whatever he likes.

that's for sure 1000%.  But then he shared it with us in this forum setting as an illustration of I'm not sure what.  I am simply saying the photo to me doesn't showcase anything positive and suggesting what he might have done to show off his new camera that he can do whatever he wants with.

Maybe as an illustration that the OIS works and allows you to get good results up to speeds of 1/5th of a second? I got a sharp image with no trouble at the same speed.

No offense, but an iphone 6+ can get this result. For a $4000+ camera it doesn't really impress me. What would be very impressive is a shot that is crisply sharp in every respect with a vibrant natural-looking color pallate unsubdued by the extremely high ISO that was used. I thought this camera's ISO is insanely high? Am I wrong?

per adam's request, four pics of a garden outside an inn where my wife and I are staying in the Lake District (Gilpin, in Windermere, to be exact). these are straight out of the camera, processed in Capture one v 8.3 (it works).  first is iso 6400 f/8 1/2000  second is iso 6400 f/16 1/500 third is iso 25000 f/16 1/2000 last one is iso 25000 f/8 1/8000s

Thanks a lot, Steve.  I am impressed by the high ISO performance.  The colors seems to hold together quite well.

I also have noticed a tinge of moire in many of the photos posted here.  But overall it seems like a wonderful camera.  Have fun, all!

Very nice indeed Nico, was in Shoreditch yesterday, was very grey, but had a nice bit of lunch at Poppies. You got some very good light and great colours.
