I have the 90mm and 127mm lenses.and my dealer has a New York body, but doesn’t want to sell it.

Yes, though my copy of the Summicron is a later one which has no radioactive Thorium glass anymore.

But it really sings on the M10. I had shunned digital for the last year, but the lens gave me new interest in the M10. Old glass on digital, new glass on film....

Thank you for the nice comment, bags27; I do appreciate it. I'd been interested in the 50 1.5 Summarit for a few years but for every 'fave' review there was another from the opposite viewpoint which, when added in to the various reports of flare, haze, scratched front elements, low contrast and so on, kept putting me off. Eventually I thought I may as well discover how it performs out for myself. I waited until I found one from a dealer which appeared to be in very good condition and I must say I'm astonished to see just how well it has been looked-after. A few really tiny scuff marks on the satin-chrome aside it might have come from Wetzlar last week. It's practically perfect. Today was my first half-hour walk out with the lens really just to see how it renders on the M-D both wide-open and stopped-down and I must say I'm absolutely delighted. As you say; some of these older lenses when matched with modern sensors can be a superb combination! Philip.
