Your posted images look very beautiful. The 50mm Angenieux is just a tool, but maybe it is a good tool!

 

 

I suspect it is a good tool in a master craftsman's hands in this instance, Raid.  -_-

I'll be happy to share more from this vintage gem ...

btw it is a  Rectaflex version of the 50mm 1.8 S1 Angénieux converted to M mount, it reaches the RF M min focusing  distance of 0.66m and the focus direction is the "Nikon way", no iris click stops:

Such lenses cost somewhere $3000-$8000 on ebay. Is this correct?

 

 

Some ebay pro sellers do list lenses at such amounts yet they don't seem to sell any.

just a test shot using the Konica Hexanon 60mm F1.2 version 1 (not the 800 units limited re-edition from1999) on Leica CL
