Didn’t know there was a v.1. Might you enow the back story onn this lens?

The original version was launched in 1956. It is believed that less than 300 were made. Konica was known as Konishiroku then. It is this name that is on the lens,

In 1999 Konica made an 800 unit "re-edition" but the optical formula was changed.
