  1. Buy the camera that you want to. I got an M10 after the M9 (after the M8) and after I got an M6 (after an M3). The new Voigtlaender lenses are excellent, by the way. The 50/2 APO and 50/1.0 are wonderful lenses. I use them on my M10. What is there not to like!
  2. Iranians have some people with green eyes. We see them too in Iraq where pilgrims from Iran decided to stay and live in Iraq. Blue eyes are very rare.
  3. Leica M10 with CV 50mm 1.0 (wide open)
  4. CV 50mm 1.0 used wide open here.
  5. My Zeiss Jena 50/1.5 (1938) is light and sharp and gives pastel color images. The pre-asph Summilux is small too. Small and simple.
  6. 5cm 1.5 Sonnar with cheap m 4/3 France
  7. A complete "outlier" was my newly bought Zeiss Hologon 16mm/8 (which I added to my 35&50 combo) Denmark
  8. Zeiss Jena 5cm 1.5 Sonnar on basic m 4/3 camera Camogli, Italy
  9. I have been many times to Italy, and my usual set of lenses is 35mm & 50mm. I never feel like I need a wider lens. Things will look distorted with lenses wider than 28mm. Things will also look smaller and unreal for my perspective in street photography. The 50mm lens is a must for me. It can be used as a "normal" lens and as a short tele [just get closer to the subject]. In Venice, I went up the church tower to take photos of the San Marco plaza with the many people and pigeons. My iPhone has a wide angle lens. This will do. The 50mm lens is often a Sonnar 50/1.5 and the 35mm is usually the pre-asph Summilux 35/1.4. The iPhone is best for close-ups in street photography from the hip. I never use a tele in such trips. It will be an extra load to carry and then you don't use it. Make the 50mm lens your fast tele. Don't forget to enjoy your trip. Eat Gelato!
  10. These are snapshots taken with the M10 and CV 50/1.0 (Pensacola, Crawfish Festival set-up).
