jaques Posted November 8, 2012 Share #442 Posted November 8, 2012 kitten update - 5 of the 6 kittens have now been homed- one is stubborn and seems to want to stay (smudge)... last night the two white ones went off to live on a farm as a pair of brother cats- twitch and stink face will have a fine time: the new owners last two cats lived to 18 and 23. A vet friend visits almost weekly. Horses, dogs, chickens, a 17 year old girl and wallabies for friends. these shots from the last day with me captured on a 1950's Contax mount 1.5 Zeiss Sonnar T (with Amedeo adapter) on Leica m9p: Welcome, dear visitor! TomB_tx Posted November 10, 2012 Share #445 Posted November 10, 2012 Took this Zunow 5cm f1.1 to Barcelona and Marseille last year. Here is how it performs under bright day light and low light environment. Very nice! Makes me anxious to get mine back from repair. It had a jammed helicoid when given to me, so I've yet to use it. Going on about 2 years at the repairman... I nudge him now and then, always with assurances it is progressing.
menos I M6 Posted November 10, 2012 Share #446 Posted November 10, 2012 Jeff, count me to the official Zunow photo addicts! I love that look - too bad, only a few times in a man's life, one can see one, not to mention afford it ;-)
jaques Posted November 10, 2012 Share #447 Posted November 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) yet more kitten shots- this time with a 1950's 200mm Leica Telyt (visoflex) lens - on M9 with visoflex III and Oubio- using flash- and therefore with no finder on the visoflex (why no flash socket on the M9??) focusing 'waist level' in a dimly lit corridor- my focus hit rate was around 1 in 12:rolleyes:: Welcome, dear visitor! philipus Posted November 12, 2012 Share #456 Posted November 12, 2012 The Summar gives such nice results; it's on my (ever-expanding mostly as a result of this thread...) "list". The "no caçadão" is particularly nice Jean-Marc.

Universalb50 Posted November 12, 2012 Share #459 Posted November 12, 2012 ...is that lens damaged in some way? Is that the way photos taken with a 1936 Leitz Summar are supposed to look?...
