jaques Posted October 9, 2012 Share #241 Posted October 9, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) then I looked down at my feet and found a little nest hidden in the long grass. I had nearly stepped on these wee little beasties- Six in all... two more hidden in the pile. Now I have to feed them, have them all checked out (and desexed ) and then find homes for them all... Looks like I will busy for the next month. I could document it all here with vintage glass... Welcome, dear visitor! Paul J Posted October 9, 2012 Share #242 Posted October 9, 2012 I just found a Hazy Agieneux 75mm 1.8 on eBay for a figure that makes a new Noctilux f0.95 look a half priced basement bargain.

IWC Doppel Posted October 11, 2012 Share #249 Posted October 11, 2012 Jeffo, hi I would love to see a shot of your lens collection, you must have a 16mm lens you could use to fit BTW how do you track which lens you use in a picture I note LR4 is limited in it's choice ?
JeffoJeffo Posted October 12, 2012 Share #250 Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) I always take a snap of the lens before I change it to the camera. So any photos after that is from that lens. When changing the photos from RAW to JPG, LR4 offers to rename the file names to the lens n body used for that set of shots. I have not take the time to take a family photo for all the lenses on hand, forsure I need super wide angle to do that. brianv Posted October 12, 2012 Share #251 Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) Posting one more lens on Leica M Monochorm Astro Berlin-Gauss-Tachar 40mm f2 remount to M mount Could you post a picture of the converted 40mm F2? Have you looked at converting a CZJ 4 cm F1.4 Biotar? The back-focus should lend itself to an easy conversion. This is the earliest F1.4 lenses that I've run across. One was given to me as "payment" for some repair work. Edited October 12, 2012 by brianv

Here is a poor photo of the lens by iPhone of this lens mounted to MM As for the CZJ 4cm f1/4, I am not sure if this will cover FF, better to check before having it remount but of course you can always try...sometimes a slight dark corners can give you a moody effect. brianv Posted October 13, 2012 Share #257 Posted October 13, 2012 Follow-up on the 1920's 4cm F1.4 Biotar: it will not cover full-frame. It was made for a 35mm cine camera, 18x24 format. Checked through a TTL viewer, it should cover the sensor on the M8, or a 1.5x crop camera. This is an early lens, 6-digit SN and only the last 4 digits stamped into the rear module.
Guest JMF Posted October 13, 2012 Share #258 Posted October 13, 2012 Follow-up on the 1920's 4cm F1.4 Biotar: it will not cover full-frame. It was made for a 35mm cine camera, 18x24 format. Checked through a TTL viewer, it should cover the sensor on the M8, or a 1.5x crop camera. Probably as the Lomo 35mm T1.6 (35mm cine camera format) I tested fully covers the M8 sensor, no vignetting issues, same with the Lomo 28mm T 1.6 . brianv Posted October 13, 2012 Share #259 Posted October 13, 2012 An Industar-69 28mm F2.8 will also cover the M8 sensor. It is 39mm thread mount for the Chaika half-frame, different register. Ended up filing an internal stop and a raised circle around the mount to get infinity focus on a Leica.
JeffoJeffo Posted October 13, 2012 Share #260 Posted October 13, 2012 Sharing this super wide lens on M9 Leica Hologon 15mm f8 ....due to the lens is too close to the CCD red vignetting can't be avoid. However on film M body should be ok. Photo taken last year on my Tibet road trip Welcome, dear visitor!
