Leica M 10

For those who are familiar with the SL and Q menus, sounds like some things have moved there -- continuous shooting, for example. It seems like they have taken good aspects of the SL system and applied them to an M: button pre-sets, joy stick. And if the sensor has been built just for this M, given how good the Q and SL sensors are, this should be a marked upgrade. In 2013, the transition to CMOS left the M240 with a very good sensor -- but a lot has happened since then, and Leica not simply transplanting another system's sensor in the M, but -- as it says -- building one just for it, is a good development.

The ISO dial only goes up to 6400. The highest values will have to be selected via menus, I guess...

The letter on the ISO dial other than A is M , and I think it means Menu meaning that override the ISO dial and use the value selected in the Menu as you said.

What about the enhanced OVF? A combination of larger eyepiece, larger and more magnified view could make a big difference for some.

People here continually harp on how gear doesn't make difference it is the photographer's skill that over rides all all this talk seems to negate this stance

Peole should think again. Think about the influence a small change in the gear such as a lens cap can have on the impact of your image on your audience.
