DezFoto Posted January 18, 2017 Share #2124 Posted January 18, 2017 The M10 sounds pretty underwhelming, I don't see a lot of compelling reasons to upgrade for most people, but if you're new to the M or are coming from an M9 then I would see it as the version to get.

ianman Posted January 18, 2017 Share #2126 Posted January 18, 2017 Jono is there and also some others I guess. It would be quite lonely for him if there weren't others

Guest camera man Posted January 18, 2017 Share #2129 Posted January 18, 2017 Live streaming video from event would have been a good idea!! Hasselblad have done it why not Leica. The reason must be all those people having free drinks etc on us, the people who purchase Leica cameras.

tom0511 Posted January 18, 2017 Share #2135 Posted January 18, 2017 there are 2 things which interest me: Mainly the bigger optical viewfinder, and for using the Nocti and 135 the Visoflex are the main and nearly only 2 things I find attractive. Can't help thinking that this camera didn't need a launch presentation … it would have been more fun to just send stock to all stores unannounced and let people stumble across it on the shelves. albireo_double Posted January 18, 2017 Share #2139 Posted January 18, 2017 Frankly, the instant availability is the biggest news, in my view. I think they realise that the M10 does not represent a quantum leap compared to the M240 and would probably not sell so well if people had to wait the usual 6 months or more before they could buy it....by which time it would probably be "superseded" by other "exciting" new cameras, like the GFX or whatever else.
