Note: More information on  "Preview Exposure" setting using Non Leica Flashes. This is in addition to a previous post on page 97

Another example of Product Photography using the Q2's macro mode. Light source: Metz small Flash light with a soft box firing at 90 degree. A small round handheld silver reflector on the other side.

Note: Since I am using an On/ Off only Flash Remote Trigger the "Preview Exposure" settings should be turned off for M mode (Only P-A-S). The Auto White Balance of the Q2 seems to be quite good so I did not calibrate with the Whitbal card as I usually do. The simple Trigger I used was designed for Nikon. But since there is no TTL signal even the Canon ones could be used. I am using both types.

1/30sec ISO100 f/4 in "M" mode. Work Flow: These programs were used-LR CC, Affinity Photo Editor, then Photoshop CC to adjust the final jpg file size.

Received a Marumi 5X filter and combined it with the Hoya Close up filter. I expect that means 10X magnification. I used the Canon MR-14 EX II ring flash. Handheld. Just having fun. The middle image is of a Canon filter adapter just to see how sharp the two filters combined are looking. Pretty good at a casual view. I'm certainly not measuring resolution and how that changes as it expands to the periphery of the image. You also see the extreme vignetting of the two filters combined.

Flowers from my garden before the lower temperatures put an end to blooming.   Taking this selection to my mother.
