... you'll never forget this color. A friend of mine used an almost similar one - guess it is snake-leather -  for a Leica M3:

Thanks everyone! It's not so crazy bright in real life, but still looks very nice. The Leicavit apparently had been taken apart at one point but not assembled properly, needed a good CLA too. The take-up shafts on my iiif and iiig were slightly out as well, so Youxin matched them all up and now the Leicavit works with one pull as intended. His service was excellent - and very, very fast. Sometimes when you send Leica stuff off for service it's a matter of 'see you in a few months...maybe'. He had a turnaround of only a few days. Granted, the work wasn't gigantic, but all the same it was great to get my Barnacks back so quickly.
