Good Non Leica LTM lenses?

The Voigtlander LTMs are out of production,  but still in stock some places. The 35 f2.5 and 1.7 are well liked. I have the 21 f4 and like it very much. The 50 1.5 is great adapted to my M5, but is too large for Leica LTM bodies, as it blocks a lot of the viewfinder.

I use Canon 35 & 50 f1.8s on my IIIf. The 50 is great, and the 35 better than adequate. The later 35 f2.0 has a great reputation, which has driven up prices.

The Rollei 40/2.8 Sonnar HFT is a very, very sweet lens that can be found inexpensively.

If you're looking to go wide then the 21/2.8 Kobalux lens (also sold under the names Avenon or Pasoptik but are the same lens) is very sharp and wonderfully built or, similarly, the 28/3.5 Kobalux is tiny but very able.  Both can be found very reasonably priced on the used market.

I haven't had the pleasure but the Nikkor 35/1.8 has an excellent reputation but prices for a good one of those are climbing steadily: for example a well-known and reputable used lens dealer in London has one for £1190.

Pretty well all of the CV LTM lenses are superb, and especially the 28mm which gives a 28mm Summicron a run for it's money (at equivalent apertures). The others aren't far behind the nearest equivalent Leica lens, and one of my favourites is the 35mm Skopar which I use more than my 35mm Summicron because of it's size and handling. Some people do say that there can be quality glitches in the construction of the CV lenses, but do remember, when you hear about then it's the same old internet issue that problems are posted far more than plaudits.

I have the CV 28mm f3.5 Color Skopar LTM, and it's a wonderful lens...its performance comes close to my Leica Elmarit 28mm f2.8 Asph.  I'm sure in technical details, graphs, etc. it might not...but visibly, in the work itself shooting film with both, I have nothing but good things to say about the CV 28 f3.5. If Leica would have made a 28mm LTM in a speed faster than f5.6 (Summaron) or f6.3 (Hektor), both of which are a bit ridiculous except for summer mid-afternoon IMHO, I'd have bought a Leica. But they don't...I use 28mm focal length a lot in both film (iiif, iiig, MP) and digital (M9, MP240).

I must vote here for a lens I had the pleasure to own for some time: the Konica 60/1.2 LTM. Absolutely fabulous lens. Top notch build quality, extremely smooth to operate and spectacular images. In the end I sold it as the price it reached on the second-hand market reached maddening heights (an irrational exuberance, to quote some former member of the US Treasury). Presently, a lens to look at, not one to shoot with, which is a shame.

That's one that I've always been curious about. How does it differ from a Noctilux in terms of rendering?
